Epifani UL 901 bass amp head

Ben Carr on Jul 17th 2024

I just bought this Epifani bass amp head from Bass Central, and very glad that I did! I took a chance on it, having never played one of these, but I have been using an Epifani 2X12 cab for the past 15 years, and their stuff is high quality. The amp is friggin' awesome, lots of clean power, simple 3 band EQ with a couple of extra EQ features, a mid shift to a add/subtract high mids, and a high shift as well. Active/passive switch, and all the usual connections. The amp/power is very transparent, allowing the bass and your hands do the talking; I noticed a difference from the very first gig I used it on. Also, the guys at Bass Central are really great, JD has been my point person, and Grasshopper also was very helpful when I first called them to order my Dingwall basses; don't hesitate to order from them!
